Wednesday , 1-4-17 rain on Cero Alto
5 and 1/2 inches of rain fell on Cerro Alto today , I hiked both the Canyon Trail and the Bridge trail and found the canyon trail not passable due to flash flooding . More rain expected on 7, 8 , and 9th -- Sat . Sun and Mon.
Note the Scout trail had flash flooding also . The ground is saturated and you can expect flooding so if you hike in the rain , be careful .

Hey Joe, thanks for sharing! We were out of town for the bulk of the storms and it’s pretty cool seeing all the water flowing on our favorite hiking trails here!
