beauty on Cerro Alto

Cerro Alto , my daily fix , located between Atascadero and Morro Bay . in the Los Padres national Forrest .The elevation gain on this mountain is 1600 ft.
At times on my daily hike I think there is nothing new --- today I enjoyed the attached photos !! As I reached the top of the mountain I saw these two girls enjoying the view . --- Quiet day --- interesting sights ! Slow down and enjoy your hiking .

Warm weather on Cerro alto

Cerro Alto located in the Los Padres National Forrest on west of Atascadero Ca.

The weather is warming up on Cerro Alto and as we all know water is important for all hikers , both human and dogs ! These girls are definitely prepared for taking care of their dog having a water dish and a leash for him . Good work !!
I have for years hiked this mountain daily and have seen several dogs go down with heat stroke do to lack of water and training .
